SITREP: New Condor Apparel Watcher
Due to the popularity of the Condor Outdoor Apparel line, we cannot keep enough of them in stock to fulfill our customer orders. In fact, we can't keep up with the pre-orders either; in speaking with Condor, they've advised me that 2 pre-orders for the CD 602 Condor "SUMMIT" Soft Shell Jacket have already been sold out and the next available shipment for our company is January 2011.

This is frustrating not only for our customers, but for us as vendors of the Condor line.

In speaking with other vendors across the nation, I'm finding out that this is a nationwide issue and shortages of these items are rampant. Part of this is due to (per the Condor reps) the Chinese government handing out 0% interest loans to it's people which, in turn, allowed many people to move out of the textile industry. The other issue is that a great deal of people working in production have moved to Shanghai for "Expo 2010" (the 2010 World Expo) which has greatly impacted production capabilities. They've also assured me that production is "slowly" improving with "eight factories" working on their product line.

In short, there is no quick remedy for this issue. We share in your frustration because, let's face it, these are great jackets and Condor produces a quality line of products, and we can't seem to keep them in stock.

For what I can, I personally apologize for these delays. I hope that the system in place is sufficient for the time being.
